BEGoths in a movie!!
BIG NEWS!!!
The Bleeding Edge Gothic Dolls made their first TV apearance on Navy NICS where they served mostly as "extras" for the background in the character Abby's office. Well now they're going to be in a TV movie!!! It's a remake of 1974 stop-motion animated classic The Year Without a Santa Claus. A movie that I had to watch nearly every Christmas growing up.
The re-make will star John Goodman as Santa Claus and will feature some other familier faces. Chris Kattan, Eddie Griffin and Delta Burke are some that stand out to me.
The movie is set to air on December 11th at 9pm on NBC.(US)

It sounds like the BEGoths are going to have a scene in a Toy Fair kind of setting. I can't wait for this!! It's going to be so awesome!

Now let's hope that this doesn't end up as a deleted scene we'll be trying to find the DVD for! Everyone knows that even important scenes can sometimes end up being cut out of movies!

Upcoming Lee's Toy Review Contest!!
Lee's Toy Review has always been a great magazine(one of my favorites!) to find the BEGoths and many other interesting toys in and now they're going to have a contest!
The only details we know right now is that they will be giving away two sets of 7" Series 5 and 1 set of 12" Series 5 dolls.

BEGoths Get Inked!
Yes I have mentioned it in a previous post but here's the full scoop.
BEGoths Comic Issue #1 The Hypnotic Gaze is out NOW! With issue #2 coming out in January.
The announcement of the comic book shocked all BEGoths fans and breathes life into the dolls we all know and love. The first issue is mostly an introduction to the obviously vast story line involving many different BEGoths characters and their individual life stories.
Fiona meets Dru in Paris and is introduced to his many multi talented friends.
You'll get a look into Ophelia's world. Her home, her friends...and...her brother.

BEGoths Street Team!!
Do you love the Bleeding Edge Gothic dolls? Do you wish you could find them in more stores around you? Do you wish you could do something about the lack of BEGoths in local retailers?
Well, you can! The BEGoths Street Team is new and it really works! My local branch got a comic book store to carry the dolls and the Comic book!!

"Hello! I am a big fan and friend of the company. I started this a few months ago and already, we have over 130 members from all around the world! So if you would like to become part of this street team, keep reading! Joining is free. The company will send you a package with postcards, catalogs, etc..then you can go around and hand out postcards and talk about the dolls and different things Bleeding Edge has to offer. I have noticed that fans have been taking it in their own hands to suggest that stores contact Bleeding Edge and that's absolutely great! On the Bleeding Edge forum they are posting one profile a week for the series five dollies. They are starting with 12", then 7" then the Minor Misfits, this has been going on for three weeks so far and here are the profiles, I will start updating these weekly.

Minor Misfits
Hello! I don't update neerly as often as I know I should...and this week, I got a really adorable Minor Misfits toon in the Bleeding Edge news letter! I feel the need to explain here...the plush toys formerly called "kindergoths" have been changed to Minor Misfits and are the stars of this adorable toon! There have been three so far and in true Bleeding Edge fashion, each is better than the last! The new one is sooooo cute!!

Now the Angelina Blasphemina Chase version that was available through the Crypt Club is sold out and Absynthia Chaser from the same series...
It also sounds like all or most of the Glow In the Dark series 3 7" dolls are sold out...
